Being the Guest of Honor at a Divorce Party

Being the Guest of Honor at a Divorce Party is not exactly an event conjured in one's fantasies from an early age.  Yet, the sentiment is certainly appreciated if you have just come through the harrowing days of divorce.

Divorce parties are becoming more and more prevalent.  I love the positive sentiment as long as it doesn't take away from the real life experience of the woman who is the guest of honor.

Divorce is not a party and it certainly isn't a soiree. (I don't know how to do the French accent on the keyboard ). I wish I could invite you all to a soiree this week but I can't and I think that's OK. Soirees and drowning our sorrows are necessary sometimes. The thing is, you don't need to find an expert with whom to soiree.

My work and my passion is to help women who are going through or who have gone through divorce create life enhancing change and long-term happiness out of the heartbreak and hell of divorce.

I want to offer women support and connection and provide them with new tools, understandings, and strategies to build a bright future for themselves, and if they are moms, for their children.

That's why I am inviting all of you to my Break-up to Brilliance Workshop on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

I want to share the tools, understandings, and strategies that I learned personally and professionally that have enabled me to make this my life's work.

I am also excited to answer any questions you have from my position as a former family lawyer, a current divorce psychologist, and a current woman who has been through divorce, single parented and come out on the other brilliant side. I made a zillion mistakes along the way but it gives me purpose to make sure you don't have to !

So, it's not a soiree but it is an opportunity to connect and learn a process for building a bright future. I wholeheartedly hope to see you there!
